| Nathan Hunter Co-Founder, Technical Advisor |
Mr. Hunter has been working on the scientific concepts serving as the foundation for Evgentech’s innovation platform for over 10 years. His approach to electrical engineering and can be called “non-traditional”: he is an accomplished scientist, but is primarily self-taught. Mr. Hunter therefore views battery charging not from the framework of what he learned at university, but what he believes makes sense from a basic scientific approach. This viewpoint has enabled Evgentech to take a fresh look at the science of battery charging, which has otherwise remained relatively stagnant for 100 years or more. In addition to his scientific endeavors, Mr. Hunter has also been an entrepreneur for 15 years. In 1996, he founded a business engaged in exporting cosmetic ingredients from sub-Saharan Africa for sale to various multi-national companies. Mr. Hunter has in the past and continues today to consult with a number of U.S. and African government agencies, as well as private entities, in the area of commodities trading. Mr. Hunter is also a thought-leader in the area of Green-Collar workforce development, and currently consults with the U.S. Department of the Interior. Mr. Hunter majored in Economics at Morehouse College, where he was on the Dean’s List. His parents are both renowned and pioneering Ph.D. scientists in their respective fields and Mr. Hunter likes to say “he has been in the lab since before he was born.” |
