Evgentech’s proprietary fast charging technology will be welcomed by consumers in any market where the utility of–and user mobility–of battery powered devices is limited by the slow pace of conventional charging. Improved battery performance is an acute need in portable products, and we are initially focusing on OEM’s that make products where users would be absolutely delighted to be able to charge 5 to 10 x’s faster than is possible today. Such markets include: Smartphones, tablet and laptop computers, E- book readers, medical devices, power tools and toys. We will also be willing to investigate applications in electric vehicles and electric bicycles/scooters and power storage with qualified parties.
Significantly, our methodology operates independently of the chemistry of the battery. This means that Evgentech’s fast charging modifications can be introduced external to the battery–often with few or no modifications to the device itself–which lowers the cost and increases the speed of implementation in existing products. Time to market could be as little as 12 months for a number of product categories.
